KNX In Depth Special: Mayor Karen Bass--Lessons Learned

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass sits down with KNX chief correspondent Charles Feldman, bringing with her several new revelations as she reaches the roughly 18-month  mark of her administration:

-The Mayor says she was surprised to hear LAPD officers would not object to a new police chief being brought in from outside the Department

-She says her next homeless policy initiatives will put a bigger emphasis on providing supports services along with transitional housing to homeless people, to better set them up for success.

-She discusses ramping up preparations for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

LAPD in Transition: KNX In Depth talks with outgoing Chief Moore & incoming Interim Chief Choi

In a rare opportunity to look both backwards and into the future of policing in Los Angeles, KNX In Depth talked with outgoing LAPD Chief Michel Moore and incoming Interim Chief Dominic Choi.

With Interim Chief Choi taking himself out of the running for consideration as the next LAPD Chief, the city embarks on a comprehensive search effort that will include both internal and external candidates--and, according to Chief Moore, could include a current police chief in a foreign country.

From the struggles of reforming LAPD practices over decades to discussing how the Department might receive a fresh face coming in from outside of Los Angeles, KNX gets rarely heard perspectives from the two men tasked with running the third largest police force in the United States.

Great journalism right there.

Endless stupidity.

A National Voter ID law is a must. That is the only way this will insure valid elections. Of course, the Democratic Left is totally against this. They cry and have these temper tantrum’s whenever it’s a topic of conversation. The media makes sure it’s a one sided argument.
